This module covers aspects of timber certification, procurement and specification. After briefly looking at the way forests are managed it goes on to explore the ins and outs of timber supply. It begins by looking at what managed forestry resources are and then goes on to establish the need for certification schemes. After covering timber procurement, it closes by looking at the timber specification process.
